Keeping with the graffiti theme, and adding in one of my more favored artists, I found this interesting article. Worth the read if you are a art history / modern art buff, but I warn you, it's kinda long. There is also a great movie out there with David Bowie (plays Andy Warhol), simply titled Basquiat.
